Curly Hair

Curly Hair, Cut by a Specialist

Curly hair isn't straight hair with a wave — it grows, shrinks, and behaves differently, and it needs a cut shaped for your actual curl pattern. At JoBella Hair Salon in Monroe Parke, Monroe Township, curly hair is a specialty, not an afterthought.

Erika

Meet Erika, Certified Curly Hair Specialist

Our Curly Haircut & Styling service is performed exclusively by Erika, our certified curly hair specialist. Your appointment starts with a consultation covering your hair history, any previous chemical services, your home-care routine, and the maintenance your hair will need — because a great curly cut has to fit your real life, not just the chair.

Services

Services for Curly Hair

• Curly Haircut & Styling with Erika — a cut shaped to your curl pattern, styled and finished so you can see exactly how your hair wants to live
• Kids' Curly Cut — patient, curl-aware cuts for children
• Curly Hair Styling — styling for events or a refresh, with guidance on recreating it at home

What to Expect

Every head of curls is different, and results vary with your hair's condition and history — during your consultation we'll set honest expectations for what your hair can do and what it will take to get there. We'll also recommend professional home care to protect your cut and your curl pattern between visits. We work with professional color brands including Goldwell Topchic, Lakmé, Alter Ego 10 minute and Schwarzkopf Royal.

How to Book

New clients: please complete the New Client form before booking — it's how we learn your hair's history and reserve the right time for you.
